Gameday dress?
Happy Monday everybody! I'm exhausted today from being at a cheerleading competition all weekend. Today I'm going to Lawrence after work for an RCR alumni event too, so I have to look somewhat presentable. Woof. Lucky for me I've been saving this dress for today. It's the Caravane Tunic Dress from Anthropologie. I LOVE THIS COLOR and I will forever and ever. I 'm wearing it with black leggings and my Jessica Simpson boots. I'm so comfy which is great because I'm still so tired haha. Also perfect considering today is gameday. Rock Chalk!

cool blue accessories
I chose today's outfit based on the fact that I wanted to wear this really cool necklace I have. It's from Francesca's. It's similar to the one in the photo below in that it's big teal beads, but there are also two sparkly beads on it too. I dug some teal bracelets out of my drawer (because I have a ton of bracelets) and I wore it with a plain white long sleeve t-shirt and this Express Zip Up Peplum sweatshirt. For shoes? My Jessica Simpsons. It's a pretty simple outfit, but I actually quite enjoy it.

I did a quick job of it today.
Today I didn't want to have to go through the whole "lets rip everything out of the closet and end up hating all of it" thing, so I just went with a safe go-to. I imagined it in my head before bed last night.
It's a really basic J. Crew tshirt (The J. Crew Linen Rose tee to be exact) with a cardigan over it. My cardigan has those old guy elbow pads, except they're sequined hehe (just like the picture below, except mine was gray). It's from Old Navy. I also wore my brown Steve Madden Troopa Boots with Free People Rodeo Foldover Anklet socks. Mine aren't purple like the picture, they're a peach color. And I didn't fold them over. I let them peek out the tops so you can see the ruffle. I love doing that. I also wore a pair of black leggings from express. Didn't want you to think I forgot pants.

I hate my outfit today
I was 30 minutes late today because I couldn't decide on what I wanted to wear. I tried on literally everything in my closet and hated all of it. So now my room is a disaster because once I put my final outfit on I didn't have time to clean everything up. And the only reason this is what I'm wearing today is because I realized I HAD TO GO TO WORK. Ugh. Whatever.
I'm wearing this teal button down from Express. It's one of those staple type shirts that all girls own 50 copies of. It's making me static-y. I have a really cool necklace on with it from Francesca's, but you can't even see it because my shirt is all floppy and keeps falling over it and covering it up. Also I can't find a picture of it because Francesca's website sort of sucks. I have on a pair of jeans too. The only redeeming thing about this outfit is that I FINALLY GOT TO WEAR MY BLUE FLATS FROM J. CREW! Woo! I Love them. The lady who works at Chick-Fil-A complimented me on them during lunch. So I guess the outfit isn't a total failure.
Regardless, I texted my mom and told her to bring me leggings and uggs and a tshirt to KC Cheer tonight. I'm not keeping this on any longer than I have to.

My Sort-Of Outfit Repeat
Lol you guys. I wore an outfit today that I've worn before, only in different colors.
Check out my outfit I wore on Day 2. I wore this today, except my shirt was my blue version. I Love that top so much. It's so comfy
That's all I've got for you today. Sportcenter twitter ruined the results of Ice Dancing for me. SAY SPOILER ALERT. UGH.

A Cool and comfy monday
Happy Monday fools. I didn't want to get up this morning, so I'm rockin the bun and a great pair of leggings today. I love when I can wear leggings and make it look like a fancy outfit. Like, joke's on you fools I'm comfy AF!
I went shopping with mom this weekend and got this really cool vest from Francescas. I can't find a picture of it, but it's really cute and I was really excited about it. I wore it over my black Frankie and Jules tunic (I'm literally obsessed with these shirts) and I got a pink long necklace to match. I also wore my Jessica Simpson Cowboy Boots which are my favorite pair of boots I have ever owned. They are so comfortable. I felt so cool and it was a perfect Monday outfit.

Valentine's Day!
Woo! Valentine's Day! I was by far the most festive one in the office. And by "by far" i mean "the only." I wore a white long-sleeved shirt with a shiny red heart on it from Victoria's Secret an eternity ago. I wore a J Crew Jackie Cardigan over it with my Madewell Bistro Skirt, black tights and Tory Burch Reva flats. After I ate a ton of food with my parents for lunch I thought I was going to explode out of my very festive outfit.

I woke up late today
So I went to my current go-to. One of my Frankie & Jules tunics. I got a brand new blue one that I'm obsessed with. I wore it with a chunky blue and purple necklace, black leggings, and my motorcycle boots. It was comfy and quick, perfect for a day when I didn't have a ton of time to get ready!
Happy Galentine's Day!

I'm a cool girl with polka dot leggings
I was pretty pleased with my outfit today. This dress is so comfy, and I was so warm all day long. I got the dress at the Gap this fall. It is a perfect staple dress for all kinds of outfits. I also wore a navy sweater like the one I pictured. I'm not sure where mine was from, but it was just a pretty basic navy sweater. I got navy polka dot leggings off of Amazon, and wore them with my Steve Madden Troopa boots. I also borrowed a navy and white striped scarf that I borrowed from my mom. I felt cool u guyz!

Navy & White
I went to lunch with Jordan today, and her one comment was "could you be wearing any more navy?" She's right. I had on this cool t-shirt with a sparkly thing on it from J. Crew with a Navy thermal under it (to keep me warm. It's still winter you guys.) Over the top I wore a J. Crew vest similar to this one and a navy infinity scarf. I also wore my J Crew jeans...they're my favorite pair of jeans, and I keep trying to go buy more pairs but none seem to fit as well as the pair I have...I also had my Navy Converse, which I love to wear with these jeans. SO today was a really navy, j. crew-y kind of day.

A Monday Outfit.
Monday again. It's freezing outside.
Today I wore a white sweater from the Gap. It's pretty warm and I was able to put a Victoria's Secret thermal long sleeve under it, so I was nice and cozy all day. I paired it with a pair of leggings and my Brown Steve Madden Troopa Boots.
I don't have any photos today. I'm too lazy to go track them all down. Just visualize. It's Monday.

My favorite favorite favorite tunic.
Today's outfit is one of my recent favorites. I got this incredible tunic from Frankie & Jules, a boutique in Overland Park. I love it so much that I have it in four different colors. Today I wore the eggplant colored one with a lace vest like the one pictured below. We got my lace vest at a flea market in Shubert Alley in NYC when we went this summer. It's so comfy and long enough to wear with leggings! I also wore my Uggs all day long :) I Love this outfit.

An outfit for an Unfortunate Circumstance.
We had to go to a wake today after work. Jesse and I drove directly to the Church from our offices, so I had to be dressed for the wake when I went to work.
I picked this dress from Target
I think it was perfect because it's serious enough for the occasion, but still has a little bit of my personality in it. Also because most of my clothes are so bright, this was one of the only things I had. I wore it with fleece lined leggings and my motorcycle boots, so I was SUPER SUPER WARM!!!!! It was really static-y though.
My heart goes out to the Pruett fam tonight. Nobody should have to lose someone they love.

The Cold Makes It Hard To Dress Cute
I took that girl's advice and wore my Uggs as I sat at my desk. I just got a new pair of the Sand colored Classic Short ones. I love them. I was so cozy all day long. When I wasn't wearing my uggs I had a cute pair of tan J Crew Cece Suede Flats. They're really comfy, it's just too cold to wear them right now!
I feel like I've worn NO color since I've started working. This is different for me. I'm usually a rainbow explosion. SUMMER HURRY UP IM NOT A FAN OF NEUTRALS.
